SUZUKA SUNDAY ROADRACE ROUND.4 "Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Race" Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club Jul 25(Sat) - RACE |
Jul 25(Sat)-Ending the summer of 2015 with a better finish than last year. Race day of 2015 Suzuka Kinki Championship Series Round 4 Suzuka 4 Hours Race a prelude to Suzuka 8 Hours Race had begun. From Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club, as a 1st rider substite for Melissa, Avalon Biddle and 2nd rider Shelina Moreda challenged to fight together for the race. The race began strictly on 9:00 am. Avalon served as the starting rider and she clears the first lap without any problems however, in the first half of her stint there were situations that safety cars had to come in. Therefore Avalon went 24 laps which is more than her scheduled laps and finally comes into for a pit stop to switch riders. Grabbing the baton from Avalon, Shelina shows intense riding from the beginning until she suffers from severe pain in the arms making it very hard for her to go the distance. The team immediately makes another plan and changes the balance of the distance with Avalon to cover Shelina. Avalon did just that with her consistency and makes progress throughout the race with lapping the time of 2.24 seconds line and her riding just gets better and better every time she got on the bike. With 6 pit stops all together, finishing above the position from last year, the race ended in 26th position. Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club had gone through the second year with the FIM Women in Motorsports project. Thanks to everyone who has supported us from our main sponsor, Synergy Force Japan Co., LTD. a Japanese company who makes energy drinks, and all other sponsors that were involved in this project, we were able to finish this yearʼs race with success. SUZUKA SUNDAY ROADRACE ROUND.4 "Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Race" Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club Jul 23(Thu) - Official Practice (45min) |
Jul 23(Thu)-DAY1. Official Practice (45min) 45 minutes ride out for an official practice session for today was held in a wet condition. Shelina Modera, who let her team mate, Avalon Biddle, ride for the whole session for a New Zealander to ride and learn the track. Amazingly, it only took a few laps for Avalon to start pushing the bike and started to follow some of the local Japanese riders. The lap times started to get faster and faster until she found herself on gravel in turn one due to a sudden slip down from the front end while on the brakes. Comments from the Rider![]()

SUZUKA SUNDAY ROADRACE ROUND.4 "Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Race" Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club Jul 21(Tue) |
Jul 21(Tue) Melissa Paris (USA), a very dedicated racer, who was registered to participate in the Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Race, scheduled from the 23rd to the 25th July 2015, for “Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club”, is sick and was advised by a doctor not to have long flights nor to participate in the race events until she is fully recovered despite the American’s strong will to come back to Japan for her second challenge in the iconic race. The team has agreed to accept the situation, although not having Melissa Paris for the event beside her co-rider, Shelina Moreda, is understandably a big disappointment; however, for the team, moving on with even higher motivation and passion is the only choice. Syergy Force MORIWAKI Club urgently searched a replacement rider and offered “Ms. Avalon Biddle (New Zealand)” who is currently participating in the European Junior Cup. The nineteen years old “Kiwi”, who received a surprising morning call is now preparing fast to fly to Japan to replace Melissa. SUZUKA SUNDAY ROADRACE ROUND.4 "Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Race" Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club Jul 14(Tue)・Jul 15(Wed)-TEST |
Jul 14(Tue) Continuing from yesterday, the weather condition was good for Suzuka Circuit. Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club had planned a simulation for next weekʼs race. To top things off, Shelina Moreda tried many different setups to shorten the lap times. The mechanics have answered to her demands and give her the right advises to get the perfect set-ups. In todayʼs practice sessions, a 50 minute sessions took place to for riders to simulate for the race, knowing that it is the last day of the test; there were traffic everywhere on the track. Even in this situation, Shelina had updated her time from last year showing her consistency in development. Unfortunately Melissa Paris could not come to the test therefore Shelina had done her best to setup to bike for her and Melissa. Suzuka 4 Hours Race will finally begin next week. Endurance race is tough for riders of course but also for the mechanics and supporters. We, Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club, Shelina Moreda, and Melissa Paris will be as one to fight for the points. Please have hope for Synergy Force MORIWAKI Club and this whole project! RIDER COMMENT![]()
